Well, our visitors are gone now, and we are trying to catch up on our rest. What a fun, fun week. Man are we pooped....

Baby Emma!

Abby - With the arrival of our cousin Leah and her human family, we were thrilled when our other set of human family came visiting, bringing Baby Emma with them! Armed with her new camera, Mommy was thrilled to finally be able to show you all just how much I love Baby Emma and just how gentle and patient I am with her!

We exchanged some kisses...

And some much loved face-scrunching.

Cousin Leah is here!

Last Saturday Cousin Leah came over to visit!

We have had so much fun running around, chasing each other in the backyard, and chewing on one another! Oh, if only cousins would visit every weekend! We were so excited at one point, we dogpiled Daddy! He didn't mind of course, a lap fully of furry friends is heaven to him!

We are all good friends with Leah, when she comes over we play til drop, then we sleep, then play some more!

The Story...

Jack-Daddy and I were outside working in the yard. We had just gotten back from running some errands together...the bank, the pharmacy, the post office. After battling with the dreaded thorny blackberry bushes we came inside to de-thorn ourselves and play with Abby. To our vast suprise, we discovered a tornado had hit the house while we were outside. Someone had torn up a $20 bill, completely eaten the other $20, torn to shreds the paper bag the pharmacy sent us home with, and completely chewed and swallowed the packaging for one of the prescriptions and managed to make a few of the pills disappear as well. The one and only suspect was of course, Abby. Daddy tries to tell me I was a bad doggy too because after seeing the mess, I thought that the pharmacy bad needed further shredding, but at that point what did it matter? Abby also tried to feign innocence...

But sadly, only Abby was had the means and opportunity to commit the crime.

(The prescription eaten was not dangerous, so no worries there, thank goodness. That could have been a lot worse. Lesson learned!)
